How to use Xpedition2 to keep your adventure plans together

Xpedition2 includes a handy management feature which ensures you can file routes and other aspects of your adventure planning all together in tidy folders.

There is no limit to the number of folders you can create, and you can name them for easy reference.  Once the folders are set up, you can add routes, Points of Interest or tracks you create in Xpedition2 to into the file.  You may wish to create a file for specific interests eg long hill walks, an upcoming holiday or favourite cycling routes from your home.  You can then open the file and view individual routes or all routes and objects together on a map.  This makes it a fast and efficient way to organise, find and use the routes you’ve created.

The expedition management system helps you:

  • Organise and find routes by year, season, activity, location etc
  • View all stages of a multi-stage expedition together
  • View main route and escape routes together – print and use as hard copy backup and emergency plan whilst on the trail
  • View routes in a local area together – eg close to holiday accommodation
